WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
The exhibit Systems at YBI has provided an opportunity for the students in department of art to make work addressing the systems already existing within the community and our region as well as to explore systematic processes reflected in their technical and conceptual choices.
Students were encouraged to think broadly examining and discovering their individual sensibilities and thinking in relation to the theme and our time. From works reflecting socio-political themes to the ones based on accumulative processes, they all point to interconnectedness and interdependence of parts that construct a whole as a system.
